Port Napoleon (19/3)
This is where it all began as we bought Novera here. Not the prettiest port from a holiday point of view but we met some great people here had some fantastic work done on Novera and even got some sailing lessons from a world class sailor. The restaurant is great and the facilities too and there are flamingos for your photos everywhere! We will winter Novera here as we trust the team to keep her safe and the technical team to help us keep her well maintained.
Port Guardian (5/4)
What an unexpected stop! We arrived as the wild beautiful white horses were being walked through the to the Bull Ring! Great atmosphere in the town with so many restaurants and bars to enjoy and the port people were so helpful and friendly!
Sete (14/4)
Anywhere that has bridges over a river gets the nickname 'little Venice' and this was no different. Great selection of fresh fish restaurants. If you love oysters this is an amazing place to go! The port is famous for it's fish!
Cap D'Adge (16/4)
Cap D'Adge is a purpose built marina town, developed in the 1960's. It is one of the largest marinas in the French Mediterranean. We took a walk around and saw everything from aquaparks in the distance to line dancing for the older sailors alongside of course Boules. It had a holiday vibe but obviously not a lot of history.
Gruissan 16/4
Gruissan is another huge marina wrapped by lagoons, pink salt flats, vineyards. However we loved that a short walk from the pontoons, was the old village with a big market of fresh food, great restaurants and artisan shops down narrow atmospheric streets. We also discovered when it is still at night it literally looks like a mirror!
Canet en Roussillion 20/4
Canet has a beach that stretches for miles and a great promenade to walk down. We loved the rooftop bar called 'Bar on the Sea' for a cocktail. The Marina has large pylons to tie off to but the berths were a good size. It also has some good facilities around it as many have it as their home port.
Port Vendres 22/4
Port Vendres was a smaller marina with cafes and restarants wrapping around it. The lazy lines made it a little tight to manouver but we enjoyed our stay. The facilities were a bit of a walk but we only stayed over night
Banyuls sur Mer (24/4)
This is one of our favourite stops this season. Small harbour and a friendly team. The town has a really relaxed feel and some great beachside restaurants. It is full of great sculptures and seems to be a mecca for divers with boats going out every hour.
De la Selva (28/4)
We anchored in this bay twice. It had good holding and while we never did take the tender to the little town it looked great. We stayed overnight each time so didn't have a long enough stay to explore more. Great spot though.
Roses (29/4)
Whilst a huge marina we stayed twice and enjoyed it each time. The Captinerre were extremely helpful. It is a little swelly and is a busy lively place but a fun mix of French and Spanish as it is on the border between the two. The seaside is next to the port and in May they have a huge fireworks festival. It's a hike just to get out of the marina but a great spot and the facilities are great too!

We loved this little port. The town was charming and we found a great tapas place authentic and with great food and wine. The marina had the best facilities almost hotel quality! Really enjoyed this stop. We were next to the beach and while in early May it was too cold to swim later in the year it would be a great spot to have the facilities of a marina with the ease of a swim a few steps away!
Palamos (8/5)
This is a huge marina and while it has a lovely coffee shop and a few restaurants within it the facilities were a ten minute walk away and where we were moored felt very industrial. However the short walk into Palamos was great and Palamos is a fun place to stop at with a bustling centre lots of restaurants and shops too. We went to one at the top overlooking the harbour which was amazing!
Blanes (11/5)
Lovely seaside town with a fantastic celebration of the sea in May where you can get amazing food from stalls in the fishermen's area of the harbour hear live music and dance the night away. The facilities are great and not too far away and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in town.
